Nightguard-a dental prosthesis that is used to protect teeth from further wear down due to patient unconscious grinding of teeth at night

Mouthguard- a dental prothesis used to protect teeth when participating in sporting events

Vertical fracture- a fracture in a tooth that froms up/down and can sometimes be very hard diagnosis and the tooth may look health intraoral and radiographically
